Record temps there for July and August look surprisingly like the record temps for Houston, not a day under 100F Wasn't crazy about the weather in Houston when I lived there either.
Moved to the mountains of TN, it's much better here! So far this year, we have yet to break 90F.
The mountains in TN are about the only place in the south I'd move to. You guys have some real nice weather and scenery there

I used to live in Southern California. Lots of people love the weather there, but to me, it's dull and monotonous (sp?). Now I live in Colorado Springs. The weather here has much more variety (there was a small thunderstorm just an hour ago) and yet it's still all in all very nice with 300 days of sun and low humidity. I'd like it to be just a touch warmer in winter with a bit more moisture, but I do enjoy the weather here.

I like Sydney because of it's heavy downpours but hate it when in the midst of a El Nino which means less rain leading to drought.

March, while warmer than January, is still cold, with almost definite snow (probably won't accumulate, though, unless very early in March). Spring in general is very changeable here, depending on wind direction. Some days can be nice and sunny with temps up to 15 C, other days it can be just around freezing point, with all kinds of precipitation.

Same here. Good neighborhood, great people, etc. But the weather here in the summer absolutely bites the big one, especially in August.

I like the weather here to an extent....I like that we got a whole bunch of storms during summer and hurricane season can be kind of exciting , but I'd like to have cooler fall-spring weather and a much more definite 4 seasons.....the average high is 92 in July and 76 in January....I'd like a difference of at least 50 degrees between summer and winter.
