Cool and changeable continued for the next few days. A return to average or above average temperatures by 12th, followed by a day of heavy showers, rain and storms on 15th. Very easterly mostly settled second half. A warmish spell at the end of the month.
The month yet again saw below average sunshine. Overall the temperature was slightly above average. Pretty poor for thunder with no direct thunderstorms just a couple of rumbles each time.

I know our June was around 1C colder than usual, by memory it was a more grey June towards the end where we had a week of clear blue skies with overnight lows -2C or lower and daytime highs not exceeding 10C.

Continued into today but a low pressure system looks to bring rain and temperatures again not exceeding 10C, this time though the windchill factor will make it feel 5C colder.

Don't let the rainfall numbers fool you, we had a very rainy June. But the rain was a constant drizzle. Or there was no rain, but it was very gray and might as well have rained.

sunny days: 4
partly cloudy days (meaning mostly sunny, but some clouds): 6
partly sunny days (meaning mostly cloudy, but some sun): 4
cloudy days: 16
days with rain: 16

After looking at these numbers, I just noticed I never experienced 80s this June in Massachusetts. On the one 80 degree day, I was in New Mexico. But it was in the 90s there, so it's all good.
