"A" Winters are too cold; I'd hate the all-time record being under 20 F (-7 C)

"C" Summers too cool to feel like summer.

Winner:

"B" This is probably the best climate for me,
though I'd still want to avoid the outdoors during the cooler parts of the day,
and a house well-insulated to trap the heat of the day.

A is the climate I'm currently living in. I prefer C since I would love to wear the same clothes year round.

If I had to pick just 1, I might have to go with A, simply because it is hot enough duringthe day in summer and definatelyt better at night than B. Climate B is simply too cold at night for my liking. A's winters appear to be colder than Melbourne's, but spring seems to come earlier than in Melbourne

I think my preference is based upon where I've lived the last 35 yrs. Anything hot and humid is not on my fave list.
