Thanks. Yeah, I thought that 59° was low for Little Rock.
Yeah, its not too terrible in the summers compared to alot of the rest of the south, but we are in the "upper south" and higher in elevation. Elevation here in this part of the state ranges from 950 ft up to 2100 ft. The airport is in a river valley location in a rural area, so its typically one of the cooler spots. Thats why I hate that is our official reporting station because it really dont represent the rest of the area that well.
As mentioned, my DP has been as high as 77° this summer. Another example is now... the airports DP is currently 62°, but mine is 66°.
Abingdon VA is 20 miles NE of here and often has a much higher DP than the Tri-Cities TN apt. Abingdons DP is much like ours at my house.
Do you have their dewpoint data?
Thanks again for posting!

For Tri-Cities, TN airport:
2008: 72 (average 44, lowest -8)
2007: 73 (average 44, lowest -7)
2006: 73 (average 45, lowest -4)
Wow! Doesn't get too hot there for the south.

SAB, no wonder you never feel warm. Your have extremely low dewpoints. I realize it's still winter there, but I figured it'd be more like the southern part of the U.S. during the winter months.

Actually, those dewpoints are quite balmy for winter.
Did you forget he's using Centigrade?
I was about to say, at least SAB probably doesn't need a humidifier since the dewpoints are almost always above freezing, even overnight.
*Most of the time I've been in central NC in winter, the dewpoints would stay in the 20's F...
Usually the humidity was 30-40% in the afternoon.
*SAB's dewpoints are comparable with sunny winters as far north as Charleston SC,
dreary spells in winter as far north as Nashville TN and rainy coastal PNW.

Today's going to be more humid than yesterday:
High: 69 @ just before midnight
Low: 63 @ 4PM
For perspective, the dew point around this time 24 hours ago was 65.

For Mississippi, that's startlingly-low and comfy sounding.

The weather has been comfortable (compared to average) this week. The dew point reached 78 last Friday before a cold front came through. At its lowest on Monday, the dew point was 58. Today was the most humid day this week.
I'll report today's dew points since it's almost midnight here anyway.
High: 72 @ 8PM
Low: 66 @ 12-3PM
