what part of canada do you live?? alberta, are you near the tar sands pit of hell
No, I was only there for a summer a few years ago.
Near Toronto; one of Canada's warmest places.
For me, anything approaching mid 50's F with steady wind,
or 54 F and no wind can easily become miserable.
I experienced mid-90's F on vacation this summer;
(had no idea what the humidity % or heat index was however)
that was a lot easier to handle for me than < 54 F.
then you should change you name to frozen canadian
Hardy, har, har...
No, like most Canadians I spend a lot of my life indoors.
Other people prefer it to be around 70-72 F, not 75-80 F,
so indoors I'm not accustomed to feeling "warm" unless I'm excersizing.
(also takes A LONG TIME to stop hurting from the outdoor cold when it's only "warmish" indoors )
Fall is starting too quickly. We haven't had Labor day yet but the supermarkets already have Halloween candy out in front of the registers. And as usual, they will be selling Christmas stuff before even Halloween.
I went to Menard's on Saturday and the aisles usually filled with garden/yard items were now endless amounts of Halloween stuff! Had to struggle to find grass seed, just wanted a small bag so I could fill in some bare spots.
Fall is prime time (usually) to plant grass you think it would still be prominent instead of Halloween!
Buy chrysanthemums in fall colors. Put a pumpkin out on your front step. Hang a bird feeder. Fall is a lot of fun to work outside.
