With the tropical/humid airmass we have in place, a thunderstorm just developed over the southeast side of Rockford, Illinois.....torrential rain, lightning, thunder....all the good stuff We hit 93 degrees yesterday; we'll probably be in the mid-80's today with random thunderstorms here and there.

Yes. 46 mm (1.8'') so far today. It's a rainstorm! Many parts of the country are experiencing minor flooding. Should be easing soon though.

Yes, as of late this afternoon.

We're crossing our fingers hoping the roofer fixed our roof and that rain will stay outside.
