Suzanne : Some of this rain is headed to East Tenn
But it will be Tommorrow and Friday before most of it makes it to East Tenn.
It probably be Sunday before all the rain leaves East Tenn. Hopefully. It should be gone by saturday here in West Tenn hopefully.

Weatherwise, fall is my least fav season. As a warm weather lover you'd think winter would be my least fav. The thing is once Jan hits, I figure the cold only remains for 2 months. March it mostly 60s, some 70s and April its 70s and 80s. So whereas fall its a shock to the system to start having those 40-50 degree morns and some days barely warming up. Once Nov hits, its just a slightly warmer winter month in my book. I do love the holidays though, so maybe if I lived in LA, Phoenix, Houston, Jacksonville, Tampa, etc fall would be my fav. I don't, I live in ATL where we get all 4 seasons (just w/ a milder winter but far from being warm)so I hate fall.

That is so true, once Fall sets in around October/November I know its only going down hill from there, on top of that a 70° in Jan/Feb feels way warmer than a 70° day in Oct/Nov.

I need my 80's/90's/100's!!!
I'm glad we're in the mid-80's with a heat index pushing 90 already

Atlanta seems like the perfect place to be during the winter. Average highs in the 50s. That's a very comfortable temperature, in my opinion of course.

Atlanta winters, if you can call them that, are very short. The highs are still in the low 60's in November and back up to mid 60's by March. If the 3 winter months were a little colder, with more snow, they would be ideal IMO. Cold enough to give you a taste of winter, but not long enough to overstay your welcome.

Hasn't really felt like Autmn in NE Wisconsin, but next week will give us below average temps, which will remind us it is here!

Scattered trees are starting to show some color, we're later here on the lake shore for fall colors!
