Based on the hottest temperatures being in April, and then again in October through December, it has to be somewhere along or near the Equator. I was going to guess Singapore. Or could it be in the East Indies? Sao Tome? Cape Lopez? Galapagos Islands?

For some reason I thought the Galapagos Islands would be cooler than that....does the Peru Current reach that far north?

It might be somewhere in Africa, but I'm thinking it's likely south of the Equator. Average high temperatures in June, July, and August are slightly cooler than the remainder of the year. Possibly Nairobi, Kenya? How about somewhere in the Congo, Tanzania, or Gabon? It would help if we could know the precipitation averages as well.

I was thinking at first it was a coastal location ... but equatorial coastal temperatures are usually more temperate. This looks to be more inland based on how hot it is during all times of the year, with only June, July, and August being a little less hot. Here are a few more guesses: Kinshasa, Brazzaville, Kananga, Franceville. After that, I give up!

Thought it might be - surely somewhere in the Torres Strait islands, though I have no idea which one (can't see any BOM data for them)?

In that case, I'll take a few more wild guesses ... so it's apparent that I don't give up that easily. It's likely somewhere just south of the Equator, so I'm going to guess somewhere in New Guinea, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, New Caledonia, Melville, or Timor. My least likely guesses would be Indonesia, Malaysia, or Tasmania.
