Colorado Blizzard setting up?
Since it would appear that at least, a BIG snowstorm is now underway for the entire I-25 corridor (Wyoming, Ft. Collins, Greeley, Denver, Castle Rock, Colo. Sprgs. to Pueblo) on Colorado's Front Range......today through Friday morning........
I look forward to all the road, weather observation info. and local snowfall totals as they come in.
The NWS is calling for 1-3 feet.
Well, maybe 3 feet in the foothills.....but it's not even Halloween yet!
Yep.....Colorado.

Yup, and thank Heavens that by the time your storm gets over here, it'll be just rain. Originally, we had a forecast of rain/snow, but fortunately our temps will keep it at rain.
It's gonna be a long winter for some people. This is either the 4th or 5th snowfall for the western part of my state.

Same storm will have an impact on us, too! Rain, windy but no snow! Tomorrow is going to be nice again, upper 50's, before the bottom falls out again!

My son ( central Minnesota)got stuck in Denver airport on his way home from a relative's wedding in Las Vegas.
Since he only had help lined up to do the milking on his dairy herd thru this morning , he had to scramle to contact the guy for tonight's milking.( thanks to cell phones )
Last I heard, they should be getting a flight out and be home around midnite.

We got about 2 feet just outside Denver; not as much as some friends by the foothills with about 4 feet. Amazingly, the sun came out today and in a few short hours about half of the snow is gone. Trick or treating tomorrow will be nice with dry roads and pavements!
