Question Peak Autumn/Fall question~

Hi All,

I have a peak Autumn/Fall question:

I know the New England states get the prettiest Autumn seasons (well- from pictures I've seen! ) But I was wondering which state out of the 6 New England states- generally gets the best most colorful Autumn seasons?
Is one better then the other? Or do all 6 of those states generally get beautiful colorful Autumn seasons? Also- when generally is- "peak" Autumn season in the New England states?

Thank you in advance to everyone who can answer these questions

There's a "peak" post where we discussed whether we were at peak or past peak! It varies year to year maybe by a week or two and there are several sites that provide "peak" information.

I've visited many different states in the Fall, Ozarks, Upper Midwest, Smokey Mountains, New England plus the Laurentian area in Canada and I would never try to say which has the best colors overall. Peak colors depend on weather conditions, it varies every year just like the date the color starts to appear.
