Snow on the models
The 12Z GFS shows some snow chances in the Northeast after day 9 if you take the model at face value. The pattern is changing and I predict one to two snows in New England by the middle of November. The cold air will defintely be in place. The high today on my station was 69F. I predict that will be the warmest temperature that I record for the rest of the year.

I'd say you're right on target! We were a little above normal but now the bottom fell out, a chilly Halloween for sure!
I'll be amazed if we get 60's in November but would love to be wrong!

Well, the models still show snow today, but more on the order of snow showers. Regardless, it looks like New England and the Upper Midwest will remain closer to early November averages in terms of temperatures.

Thank goodness I am in S. Texas... where snow is oh, so rare! We should see temps stay mostly in the upper 70's with overnight lows in the upper 50's to mid 60's through the middle of the month (actually, this is a bit under normal for the overnight lows..)!

Oh no, it's inching closer and closer to the Mid-Atlantic. November snow is rare though.
I hope we get no snow for the rest of the decade.
