Here in NW NC I got 12-14", down the hill towards Winston and Greensboro got about 6-8". Our county had the most accidents in the whole state!! Hmmm wonder what that means!!

Hope you guys will be ok with this big storm.. I heard Boston, NYC, Philadelphia and Washington are all getting slammed. Hopefully they've already started getting the plows out....

Well, we are considered southeast, but here are some snow pics from here... thanks to the same storm... **this is the most snow we have gotton from a storm since 1998!! 5 inches of snow at my house.

finally... some I took last night *Friday night)...


Snow on the Longleaf pines... some branches broke off of one of them...





Snow bending down my small pines...

Pond pine all bent down...


Slash pine really bent down...

unhappy Loblolly pine...


Snow on the cars....





Finally... some my mom took this afternoon....

The Northeast has been the topic of TWC and National News. Shockingly enough, it was even on my local news. That's pretty strange because this wouldn't be a HUGE newsmaker if it would hit my area.

Is anything being said on local news in the Northeast? Is this a record-breaking snowfall for anyone?

It started snowing here in southern NJ at about 3 AM Saturday morning and ended around 6 AM today. The official total is 24", but I think that my area about 10 miles away got just a bit more.
