It rained like bloody stink it did, there were curtains of rain lashing through the sky on a gale. We totalled 1.7 inches.

Yep. Lots of rain/shower periods throughout last few days including today .

MTD totals in city/eastern suburbs around 45 to 55 mm (1.77 - 2.16 in.) Some areas in the inner-west and south-west around 120 to 130 mm (4.72 - 5.11 in). Certainly a stark contrast to last year's very (terrible as I recall it) dry November (10 to 20 mm = 0.39 - 0.78in.)!

Yes. While I was leaving class. And I walked to class. I had no hoodie/coat/umbrella. I was not a happy camper.
