Happy to have a very broad view of the horizon from this apartment, can see some cumulonimbus developments to the south and north, a large sweeping anvil cloud developing somewhere over East Anglia at the moment.

What a coincidence, Just yesterday I spotted the first pumpkin seedling in the garden. A little early, but the ground temps have been a little warmer. Pumpkins are just another great thing about summer, mmmm... pumpkin soup(another great thing about winter).

Cast comes off in 7 days and the forecast says no rain until after the cast comes off.

What are you unhappy about? Forecast looks pretty mild in BA.

I haven't checked the weather in Mississippi for some time, but I recently looked and saw that they're still dealing with mid-upper 80s temperatures. Meanwhile I'm wearing some great clothes that I probably wouldn't have been able to wear down there until sometime in November. I'm feeling great

Yeah, for now is very mild and beautiful . Actually, today, for the first time in like a month, is very cloudy and coldish, like 15 celsius.
But i dont like spring, spring means the inminency (am i making up a word here?) of november and their humid 30 celsius day, the inminency of december and its horrendous HOT days, and, well, then there its hell till april.

I can live with spring weather, but the inminency of summer just freaks me out!

Your reaction is pretty much identical to mine every spring when I lived in Mississippi, Sophie. Having A/C everywhere probably made it less painful for me than it will be for you though.

Well, in BA in summer most places have A/C, like caffess or shoppings or office. But the subway DOES NOT and its hell down there.

Hpefully, in around a month, i will be moving from this tiny, hot, appartment, with no a/c to a larger one with a/c and swimming pool. Hope that happens cause it will make spring/summer much more tolerable.
