It's somewhat late, but it should be pleasant enough. Enjoy it.

An 8C evening? I was wondering how cool your nights were coupled with those highs near 60F. In that case it is awesome . Very pleasant for me.
Am I correct in assuming that the low humidity is coupled with a higher than typical range, and a faster cooling after sunset?

Yes. It is like that exactly. When there was sun, the temp was around 15c, lovely. When the sun start going down, in the evening, temp starting cooling off, i dont know how fast, cause i was out all day from 4pm till 2 am, but you could feel it. Im guessing temp was around 12c at 6-7pm, and then it was 8c at 10 pm. This are all guesses but i think there are correct.
If there were high humidity, probably the night would have been warmer and the cooling off not so noticeable.
Happy in that I've called in sick today . I have over a month's worth of sick leave so why not and enabling me to catch up on UK/Europe plans etc. So much to do and so little time and today being a cold and sunny day - perfect time to stay indoors and do emails to UK based friends and family etc
