I'm very happy. The Finnish Met Institute will finally make much of their climate data public on the net this summer. Daily observations from 1959 onwards, monthly and yearly averages, real time weather and lightning data, hourly forecasts and climate change forecasts for 2040 and 2070.
Well, I met Wayne Rooney today. Not something that happens often!
Happy to have found a new swimming hole on the river today, with an enormous wild grape vine (maybe 30 metres long) that was loaded. A mullberry tree as well - also loaded. Must have been an old homestead site.
Today was the first completely sunny day of the winter. How nice.
