About right!

Since December 1, 2012 we had 9 non-ice days.

edit: and we had around 16-20 icedays in November didn't look at the hourlies so not sure if full 24 hour days.

It annoys me how the British government continue to build houses with roads the width of a horse and kart. Like honestly, get a grip. The car parking spaces are too small too.

Oh and those one-way roads don't get me started about those.
Maybe they are trying to tell you something.. hmm.. take the bus instead.

Though admittedly if you're out in the sticks, a car is necessary.

Why on earth would I take a bus?

1. They are slow.
2. Unreliable.
3. Stop constantly.

Well actually we get ice days most years.
Its just extremely rare to get them in March.

I think in 2010 some places had something like 40 ice days.

I originally had an exam scheduled for this morning and haven't even laid eyes on the material, only to find out that it was rescheduled for later in the week. I have pushed my luck to the maximum this semester. It is truly a miracle I'm doing well despite my complete lack of motivation and other crap going on.

All true, though if you live in the city like me, driving is an infuriating experience. This world would be better if there were less cars on the road, especially since so many people drive like effing lunatics.

The bus takes me somewhat longer than driving (30% ?) but I can sit and read or type something and just not have to pay attention to traffic (a plus in the morning while sleepy). And for those going to the university, parking is difficult or far away so the bus can compare favorably.

Rail is the best form of transport for me, it takes about 9 minutes to get from here to my place of work, and I can read or type, even doing that is difficult on the bus as it's bumpy.

Yes, well I have no interest in living in a city. EVER.
Even if I move to Florida I will be living in a semi-rural area.

Buses are nice and clean here... they even tell you want the name of the bus stop is (not the bus driver its an automatic women speaking) e.g.''westminster bridge/county hall alight here for st thomas' hospital''... its very handy for people that are blind.
