I'm not against Ukrainian language at all, but watching movies in a language which is not my native (my native, just like absolutely most people in my city is Russian) can be quite difficult and Ukrainian translations of movies usually have worse quality of dubbing than Russian.
Sorry for my extremely bad English.
Are Russian and Ukrainian really different enough to need subtitles when watching movies? I've always cosidered them quite similar.

They're very similar, but Ukrainian still have some words which I don't understand. It's not the main reason though - main reason is, as I said, that Ukrainian dubbing often have mediocre quality (too monotonous, usually).

According to who?

Any snow that either of us get will be gone within 24 hours. I wouldn't expect significant accumulations in your location, since your elevation is pathetic.

Ok so here is the latest situation for ME tonight and tomorrow!.

This airmass looks a tad cooler with 515dam and -8c uppers so if we can get the temperatures down to around the 0c mark we should see accumulations here.

Unfortunately the cold will mix out by a few degrees for Yorkshire and the rest of England.

With the wet bulb level being at 200m it will snow everywhere and it will not be too hard to lie. I think this is the coldest atlantic airmass we have seen so far this season.

Looks perfectly conductive to snowfall by the time the precipitation arrives - presuming the precipitation is heavy enough to aid evaporative cooling.

Also of interest is the 950pha temperatures.

Which vary depending on the pressure. But looking at tomorrow the pressure will be 985mb or so.

You can use this to calculate the temperature at a certain height.
So 985 = 650feet
950 = 1480feet

So 1480 - 650 = 830 feet. So at 830 feet the temperature will be -2c! I think the temp here will not be very far above 0c so that is why i'm expecting accumulations.

I have used this:Air Pressure at Altitude Calculator -- EndMemo

To be confident of snow lying and an ice day i'd want a 950 temp of -4c though.
