Weatheronline is BS here at least, maybe they don't take into account the altitude of Buxton on their computerised forecast. Weatheronline is automated also, and uses less data than the BBC to make its predictions. I've looked at the BBC forecasts across the UK and it has been fairly spot on most of all -when compared to official met o stations. Personal wx station don't count.

Weatheronline forecast compared to BBC for Buxton. Days of 20-22 and two above 23? Not gonna happen. And the sunshine numbers are grossly inflated, at least 3 times higher than the reality. I will compare both these forecasts with the actual numbers after the next 8 days, and see who was more accurate. My vote BBC.

Bbc are good for my location...

Why do Brits say BBC are good... and not BBC is good? Noticed it during soccer games as well; England are doing bad this world cup vs England is doing bad this world cup

Is that a matter personal preference or something? Even my wife says weatheronline/BBC are. Is it a southern thing?

I say 'weatheronline is' and usually 'BBC are'. Sports teams are always followed with are as they are a group of people, hence the plural.

WO is good for Finland, while BBC sucks. I remember one day when the BBC said like 15C and partly cloudy, while it was something like 27C and clear skies.

BBC for Moscow seem to have only two modes: Oct-Apr like -10C all the time and May-Sep 30C all the time.

I hear this has coming to the Finnish spoken language as well. A football outfit is often referred to as ne on (they are), when the correct one is se on (it is). English is just everywhere!
