Sunshine doesn't really affect my mood at all, though after a period of overcast weather (happens here during late fall/winter sometimes, we can get 4-5 days in a row of overcast) the sun is somewhat welcome. But I much prefer overcast weather unless it's below 0, then sunshine is welcome

It affects some people more than others. Personally, my ideal annual sunshine hours is between 1500-2500 (ideally, <2k). I love clouds and precipitation.

1500-2500? So you're saying your preferred range is cloudier than London, but also as Sunny as Barcelona?

It really depends where the place is. If it is close to the equator, where it will have long days year round, I wouldn't mind as high as 2500, but if you're at ~50 latitude, 2500 would be very sunny since most of those hours will be during the summer. In addition, if a place receives large amounts of rain (1000+mm), I wouldn't mind 2500, even if some months were excessively sunny. As long as I get 4+ months with <150h (less is even better!), I'll be happy

All of the time!!!!!!!

Overcast is a complete waste, if it's cloudy it should at least be raining.

I'd still take U.K's winters over my COLD sunny winters any day though.
