Compared to a normal summer this extra cold and cloudy weather (not to mention the damp) really makes a big difference to the indoor conditions. I'm struggling to be warm even with a Rab Gilet (pronounced Jee-lay) on underneath my fleece. The cool and damp is just seeping into the house like a virus and infecting my bones. Normally my house would be a tolerable temperature level without heating this time of year. Never known it so cold ever this time of year.

Looks like I'm going to have to go into hibernation for the winter. Never known winter to last this long, it really is taking the shine. So bored of the weather now I might give up my weather hobby as it's a useless waste of time in this seasonless hell hole with no summers. Coldest dullest and wettest June on record so far here and no warm up in the pipeline unlike in May so it will finish coldest ever, dullest ever and wettest ever here, with a -2 out of 10 rating. Summer truly did die this year!

No wonder even the hardcore cold and rain lovers on the Australian Weather Forum want to slit their wrists:

I have to sit here with my hairy manly legs on show because my pants got drenched to the skin in the heavy rain earlier.

Boo-hoo - I've got my "hairy manly legs" on show all day, every day, for months and months on end...too hot to wear long pants in this climate...lol.

And boy, do I miss the rain - after a decently wet start to June, we've got high pressure locked down on top of us, probably for the rest of summer. Sun, heat, sun, heat, sun, heat...day after day after day....makes me just wanna crawl into a cool, dark bunker until it's time for me to go to Beech Mtn in August...lol.

Oh I'm not bothered about having my legs on show, most other men are jealous of them anyway LOL. That said my pants are now dry and back on again, not risking hypothermia from this ghastly weather.

Another disadvantage of this rain we've had is that while it's been good to see the new lawn we recently planted growing up out the back, it seems to have gone high on all this rain and turned an extra bright neon green colour, near as damn blinded me when I looked out the window.
