Looked like a Nuclear Winter as I left Buxton this morning, a dusting of snow more resembling nuclear fallout everywhere, dead trees, leaden grey skies, plus the fact that everyone on my road seems to own either black, grey, silver or white cars. Yuk.

Abysmal weather here today, barely above freezing with torrential rain all morning, soaked through and it feels like -1,000°F.

Today I was supposed to be going tramping but it was overcast like you wouldn't believe (cloud so thick you couldn't even make out the sun) and only about 16 C / 60 F. Great mid-summer weather!

I've written off this winter break due to an unusual illness. And more fun procedures to come in the next few days.

Now I know how SAB feels when he posts.

Well that sucks, I hope you recover soon!

I haven't seen SAB around recently. Wonder what happened to him?

Yeah? What about 70's in Winter
Houston never gets cold, but I would be much happier with 50's than 70's at least for a few weeks...

I would love Christchurch's temperatures during the summer. They sound very refreshing. Much better than melting in the heat, sun, and humidity when it's 85 F +.
