That's what I think. In fact, in one week about 2 years ago I got a load of thundery downpours when I stopped posting on weather forums and checking the radar.

Same here... we were supposed to get storms today but as soon as they got near Melbourne, they died in the ****ing ass and split to the north and south of the city... ****ing typical gay asss bull**** ****en repeating the running joke of all last summer

We've had 11 thunderstorms this year so far. With 4 of them having major lightning and the one last week having a tornado which everyone in the south end of the city could see.

That's continental climates for you. Don't live in an oceanic climate if you like thunderstorms.

Some areas do well - Lincolnshire is getting a pounding yet again today.

There were a few decent storms in the short time I was in Lincolnshire. September 2006 and June 2007 had notable thunderstorms. The one in September 2006 was a tornadic supercell.

Hmm, only 3 days left of July. It seems that the record high will be 27.6C, the lowest July high since 2008. The month will be average, but but. Hope August will not be crappy.
