Default Severe Storms: Heads Up For Washington, D.C., Northern VA.

We're about to get slammed by a strong line of storms, and the stupid transformer near my location has already blown a few times, even though we haven't even been hit yet.

Just giving folks a heads up, if you have an exposed vehicle outside, and a cover for it, now is the time to put the cover on it. Most of these storm cells are mesocyclonic, and some are producing severe hail (We're already getting 40 MPH gusts out ahead of the squall line, here in Western Ffx.).

If we're fortunate, most of the energy will be dumped somewhere out in Loudoun before it moves further East (Sorry to the folks out in Western Loudoun ;-)
