Reminds me of traveling to Upper Michigan every summer as a kid for a family vacation and to visit my moms family.

We'd always laugh when they would complain about the terrible heat (maybe 80's) what a hoot! My sister called me today saying it was warm, humid, and no breezes.

I have an inkling we are in for a hot summer this year. For the 1st time since I've been here, I had to water my perennial flower bed, they were wilting, last year at this time they were about 1/3 as tall as they are now. End of May and I can't believe how tall the plants are already.

Reached a high of 84 F today. Very warm and humid.

Tomorrow is going to be disgusting. Wunderground says high of 90 F...TWC says 94 F. We'll probably break our record high which was set during the record year of 1991.

Thankfully the pool and AC are ready to go. Although my room is pretty warm tonight, I'm keeping the fan on and window open. But I'm sure I'll crack tomorrow and finally decide to turn on the AC.

high of 89F here today. And predicted 95F tomorrow. And I have no A/C but I can manage. Hot days bring nice night weather, it feels very cozy out right now with all my windows open.

I usually find in the summer the mild discomfort I get from heat is less than the discomfort I get from air conditioning, which is usually set too low for my tastes. And heat waves rarely last more than a few days, most summers. I can remember early July 1999 being gross.

This is officially our first 100F day, it is 99F [the heat index is 105F] in Bergen County, NJ. We already attained 101F .

What a lovely May this was, Summer is looking even better, I say bring on the heat .

In Hillsdale, TWC and wunderground says it reached 90 so far (current temperature).

I checked the two weather station near my area here in Sussex County, and it says it's 89 here. Although one of them says 100, which must be a fluke, because it says it was 89 at 1:53PM. It definetly isn't 100 outside!

The weather stations in my area (western MA) have a bit of a range, but most of them seem to be about 96F or so.

Yeah it actually may be slightly hotter in interior New England today. Perhaps some all time records for the month of May.
