How can I miss you if you won't go away?
The Huntingtons

The lyrics to this song are amazingly terrible for a wedding :P

Ok, I'll play. And just for a change of pace, let me suggest a distinctly different musical genre, and propose:

"Madamina, il catalogo questo" from the first act of Don Giovanni by Mozart

For those of you who are not opera fans, the aria in question, sung by Don Juan's manservant Leporello, enumerates all the innocent maidens that the old reprobate has debauched, reading the tale from the book of conquests that he maintains:

"In Italy, six hundred forty,
In Germany, two hundred thirty-one,
A hundred in France,
Ninety-one in Turkey... but in Spain,
Ah, in Spain, already one thousand three."

I submit that you'd have to go quite a fair way to find any LESS appropriate wedding song than that one!
