Vegas Bachelor Party
I'm trying to figure out room arrangements for a vegas bachelor party for 3 nights for 12 people. Would it be better to:
1. Rent a suite that sleeps 8 (but only 2 king size beds), 2 sleeper sofas, 2 Bathrooms?
2. Rent 3 connecting rooms at a hotel with 2 double beds per room and the possibility of "roll-away" beds being being brought in. Sleep 4 people per room?
Any advice would be appreciated-- and the bachelor has specified he wants to be on the strip.

Also, how come vegas (which is pretty much designed for bachelor parties) doesn't have suites that can sleep a large amount of people?

The rooms at the Orleans generally are very large holding two queens and a sleeper bed in each room.

All the nice hotels on the strip have Penthouse suites. They can accommodate a ton of people if you're willing to pay the price. The Palms has one of the nicests, but Bellagio wasn't bad either.

Get your own rooms, try one of the older places that has a good location like Oriental, Bills, or Flamingo.

Just some advice you probably don't want to hear - Why Vegas? The strip bars are expensive and overrated, Vegas is more and more turning into a family destination, and the average age in the casinos is like 70 years old (shoving my future social security funds into those slot machines as fast as it will go).
And of course, if, ummm, paid female companionship is in you or your parties plans - Vegas, unlike the rest of Nevada, has suprisngly strongly enforced laws against that.

We had somewhere around 12 people on our last trip, one room at Orleans and one at Ceasars. The Orleans was huge and cheap, but off-strip. I ended up sleeping one morning at Ceasars and one at Orleans. Ceasars was way more conveient, but more expensive. Also, there was no time when all of us were sleeping at the same time. There was always a group of at least 3 people awake at all times. I remember, after the first night I got to the room at around 5AM, sat down on one of the beds and woke up at 11:30AM, I am not sure if I actually moved after I fell asleep.
Anyway, I would go with one big room..I doubt you will be there very often.

You need to expand which casinos you hit, as this statement is complete bull****.

Thanks for the advice so far guys. I'm probably going to book 3 rooms in the Venetian. Does anyone have any experience with this hotel?

Your statements are woefully in accurate. The great family destination push was 15 years ago and pretty much died a quick death.
