I said "his" because our OP is a MALE

My goodness you are looking to make a mountain out of a molehill.

When you can't keep a girlfriend/boyfriend, remember, I warned you why.

Some of us are single by our choice and some are single by a lack of choice that have nothing to do with being desired by a women. I'm too busy to be even thinking about a woman.

She used something that she likes as her example. Did you catch that?

If you really wanted to take sex or gender out of this why do you have to assign that attitude to a "male"?

OHMYGOSH, can you believe this??

If our OP had been a woman I would have given her the EXACT same advice I gave our male OP.

Whether you are male or female you learn to compromise for your partner.

You learn to sacrifice your preferances when something of importance comes up for them - they will do the same for you.

THAT's what makes a loving relationship - something some of our posters here will never have because they don't get this concept

are you for real?...the OP is a MALE, should we reduce replies to 'the person' would that make it better?..fine:

The person was being selfish because the person didnt want to go to the other person's event, it would not have caused the person much time or stress if the person had just gone without putting up a fight, the person should learn to pick their battles, there are bigger comprimises a person must make in a relationship with another person..Happy??

The persons on this thread who understand the concept of compromising for the persons who are their partners will be the persons who have happy, successful relationships
