Hi, so most of my family rarely see. Have a close more dysfunctional family of 12. Mom is back and forth on me getting married, but whole another story.

Anyways I just restarted my relationship with my dad after 15 year's not seeing each other. Now my dad's parents haven't seen in 15 year's as well. His brother's and sister's (My aunt's/uncles/cousins) on my dad's side haven't seen in 20 year's.

Now my great uncle my grandmother's brother saw five year's ago. Now his family I haven't seen in about 20-25 year's. Then a few not sure how related family members haven't seen in about 20-25 year's.

Don't really have friend's last one I had was three year's ago...should I invite old friend's. Should I invite coworkers?

Appreciate the advice fiancé says will have 75-80 people and we need 100 people, but not sure I will be able to get more then 10 ha.

Appreciate the feedback.

Why do you need 100 people?

I wouldn't invite people you're not friends with anymore. Nor would I invite coworkers if you're not truly friend with them as well.

We had a very small wedding so the majority of relatives weren't invited. Definitely wouldn't include relatives you haven't seen in 20 years and have no relationship with, just to fill seats.

I agree with everything.

If your venue seats 100 and you have to pay for 100 minimum and you don't know or want that many people find a smaller place.

Many people do the "would I pay for their dinner test".

If you are paying, as an example, $80 a person look at it this way. If this couple was visiting your city would you take them to a restaurant and happily pay their $160 meal and bar tab? Or would you insist on splitting the check.

That should tell you if you like them enough to invite them to your wedding.
