o wow good it tasted good! We did our tasting the other day and was delicious except we didn't taste fondant so little worried about that. We are doing blueberry velvet, champagne white choc caramel and sweet potato apple.

On a personal note, OP, I suspect any good baker can make a cake to your specifications. Emphasize that you want very light pastel color(s).
Another idea would be to have the fondant white and use pastel color(s) for the piping and flowers. I'm sure your confectioner can come up with something tasteful and to your liking.

Personally, I think that wedding cakes that are primarily white with colored accents such as piping or flowers are always the most beautiful. Both traditional and somewhat trendy at the same time.
