Yes thats the story we got at immigration in Anchorage. Could take up to a year! But we were also informed she cannot return to AK on the visa waiver deal until she has been processed! That hurt! She chose to return home so she could work etc rather than sit at the house for 4 months (her other option) unable to work or attend a college. I think we'll get through this ok. I have no problem traveling to Sweden every few months to see her.
Oh man I wasn't thinking about all the legalities ...it's miserable, but worth it in the end. Keep truckin'

Yup, if one wants to do it the right and legal way, they (Immigration) really make you jump trough some rough hurdles....that's for sure. (But, at the end so worth it....LOL )
