No rings. I don't wear watches, I don't wear rings. I don't believe in the body having a million accessories that can get caught on things and restrict movement and just be uncomfortable in general. No thanks.

To keep people from making advances on you? Any success? I'm not really in the market for a woman right now, so I figure the best way to keep them away is to carry my Bible around and wear a ring.
Once upon a time I was hot and had to do this. I would just point to the ring and smile and say sorry and they would leave me alone.
When I was single I had a fake cz ring that I wore when I did not want to be bothered with. I usually just turned it around so the stone would be in the guy's face and I would say in a very nice way that I was taken.

When I was pregnant with my first son my hands swelled up and I had to have my rings cut off. I decided not to get a band or anything but then I started being treated in a less than desireable way because people thought I was not married...they were rude! So I went out, bought a band, had my priest bless it and I wore that until I delivered my son. I figure I'll give it to him someday.
