I usually don't wear mine. I have carpal tunnel bad in my wrists and wear braces a lot of the time. The brace makes my hand swell enough that the ring is uncomfortable. If I get is sized larger, I will lose it. He wears his on and off...... He is a cable guy working with electricity, out in the cold, in gloves and with his hands. He is either afraid of losing it or afraid of injury. Its all good.

I can't wear mine..

The priest came and started praying over it and it threw up on him. He went and got a sledgehammer out of ...what do they drive? Priestmobiles? whatever..he went to wack it and it broke the hammer. So then he rolled up his sleaves got into his briefcase and pulled out this thing that looked like a book made of skin. He opened it up and it looked like it was hieroglyphics. He spoke in some long ago language and a portal appeared and ate my couch, finally they got the ring to go in and I heard a scream in my ex's voice. He turned to me all sweaty and in a heavy brough said " Nah Patty ahh waant yah to do me a we favour!", "yes your excelencey?", "stay the fook away from redheads, willya lad?"

I took mine off on July 21, 07 and it has not graced my hand since.

But when I did wear it, I never took it off.

Wearing one is for the spouse and the mairrage vows. Not wearing ring shows a first step in a lack of commitment to the realationship.

I will say this...during my drinking /hunting days wearing a ring was an attractant, not a detractant

I can't get mine on. I wear the anniversary band he gave me for our 20th anniversary instead. Due to the design on my wedding band, it can't be resized. I feel naked when I forget to put it on before going out (I take it off at night (hypothyroid and my hands swell at night) and don't wear it when doing things like cleaning or cooking)

Maybe I'll do what my mother in law did and have it melted down and cast into a different design.

My husband never wore his until our near miss in divorce court. Now he wears it every day. Well, not the original as he's in the same pickle I'm in on that one. He bought a larger size to wear.
