Hello!

My family is being relocated to Southern Fl next month and we finally have chosen Boca Raton as our place to live. WE are very family oriented with a 3 year old and new baby on the way. WE have heard great things about the area and school. My husband briefly checked out the city, chatted with locals and checked out some open houses. He was impressed and prefers to live in Boca over Broward Cnty.

We want to rent a quiet condo or preferably a townhouse in $1400 range with pool. We do not want some huge complex, we prefer something smaller in a residential area. Does this exist? 3 bedrooms would be ideal.

Any input is appreciated

Have you looked on realtor.com? This can give you a feel and then I would call a realtor in Boca to set up time to look at some communities. If you look on realtor.com and see something you can also post the area and get more feedback. Did your husband get a feel of what part of Boca he likes?

I have been checking out properties on realtor.com. I'll post some communities. Thanks! My husband prefers central or East or West Boca

I am not familiar with that community. I looked it up though if it is the correct one. First I am very picky so what may bother me may not you. I hesitated to answer because of that. I am also not familiar with East Boca. Anyhow from what I read it is in walking distance to FAU to me means a lot of college kids and not quiet. The other issue is that Boca airport is around there but I am not sure how close. You may want to ask if you are noise sensitive.
I agree with Swim about Central Boca but there are limited rentals in that price range. Could you do a 2 bedroom or no that is too small?

Thanks DaniellaG. WE have an agent searching rentals for us and they also asked us about 2 bedroom and we are willing if it it met all of our requirements. My husband is meeting with the agent and checking out a number of listings on the 13th, but I wont have those listings in my hand until maybe the 11th due to availability.

DaniellaG, like you I am EXTREMELY picky and selective about where I live. Currently we own a condo in the most upscale neighborhood of St. Paul. Obviously, we will be renting around for $1400 so it will be different in Boca, but our high standards of living can't be compromised. I will notify agent we don't want to be too close to FAU or airport. Thanks for info.
