Hello, I've accepted a job in Jupiter and I'm to start working on July 5th. I'm in my late 20s and will be coming from Upstate New York. I'm looking to rent a small, one bedroom apartment for no more than $1,500/month. Is that realistic? I don't want to have a long commute, but I would be willing to move farther inland if rents are lower. Other information I'd like to know about are utility and food costs and traffic.

I'll be visiting next week, but would like to get the ball rolling as soon as possible. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Paul

Wow, you can get a GREAT apt very close to the beach for that kind of money in Jupiter. I used to rent a 2/2 in Bella Vista for only 1300/month. It's a great condo community walking distance to the beach. There are also some nice ones in Jupiter ocean and racquet club too...particularly Sea Lofters which I thought were nice.

If you dont need to be by the water you can rent a 3/2 townhome in Abacoa (which is basically Jupiter) for 1500, or a smaller 2/2 for 12-1300.
Still a short drive to the beach and there's a little more nightlife.

Thank you for the suggestions. If I can get an apartment or condo near the beach within my price range, I may as well take advantage of it.

Regards,
Paul
