We lived in WPB back in 2006 and then we moved to Houston. Back then traffic was horrible. We are now moving back to WPB. I have been back for 2 days and I notice in the morning and at night that traffic is great now. I go 70 the whole way from PBG to Boynton.

Is traffic always this good now or is traffic just unusually light for some reason? If I can expect to go 70 at 7:30 am and 4:30 pm I am going to be one happy camper

Once you hit South Delray traffic picks up a bit, but North of that it's usually not too bad. Rush hour still moves pretty good unless there's an accident.

I-95 was under construction for YEARS... 2006 wouldve been smack in the middle of the time period when some of the most congested areas (downtown/central county) of the highway were under construction. Now, the construction is basically complete, with last bits of work between Donald Ross and Indiantown Road.

Once you hit Delray/Boca it starts to get heavy again (the university traffic mixing with the heavy retail and business traffic of Glades Road)... but yes, for the most part traffic moves nicely these days.

I know it goes with out saying, but I don't miss the construction! I hydroplaned into the barrier when they had that s like turn around 45th. Luckily only my rim was damaged but what a pain it was...

Traffic on the turnpike north of Okeechobee is worse than going south into Broward, due to the fact they have not added additional lanes. I-95 is way better then it was 10 years ago or more.

70 on the turnpike is slow, typically people drive 80-90.

since 95 has been completed throughout much of palm beach county...it really is like a dream.... Of course, I remember when 95 was this goofy little highway with 2 or 3 lanes on each side..... now it's at a minimum of 5 lanes on each side....and in some areas as many as 7 lanes on each side.

A dream. Traffic flows great. the infrastructure is modern and efficient and traffic flows quite smoothly now.

FINALLY !! Hallelueija!!!! or whatever
