In April sometime, Southwest is cutting flights to WPB from Louisville, KY. Maybe they are cutting other flights, I don't know. I always fly in at this airport since it is smaller. Where do you all fly in to when you all come to Palm Beach County~? Ft. Lauderdale is a larger airport, but I don't have much of a choice do I to get to Delray Beach~? Is there any other airports that are close to Delray Beach besides West Palm & Ft. Lauderdale~? I'm worried and it still is January and I'm not coming till March, but I'd like to get things planned ahead

I Googled the time and it is like a 10 minutes more of a drive from Ft. Lauderdale than West Palm's airport. I don't like big airports~!!!

I dunno, I prefer to fly out of PBIA because it's so close and easy to get to, Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood isn't too bad but traffic on 595 is bad if you hit rush hour.

If you can't get a direct flight, try flying through Houston, they have direct flights to PBIA from Houston.

Houston is a bit out of the way, when I'm in Kentucky

I flew through Cincinnati a number of times since PBIA often doesn't have direct flights to all locales. Jet Blue use to fly direct to PBIA, from several airports in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.... but they don't do it anymore.

Southwest doesn't charge for baggage and that is why I fly that airlines. I use to fly Delta and Northwest many years ago and then they didn't charge for baggage.

Smile Sw

When our daughter was in college, all of us became accustomed to the Fort Lauderdale to Nashville flight at 7 AM out of FLL. It was non stop and always a great flight. We are right in between FLL and PBI but found FLL easier.

I am sorry to hear SW is cutting flights - this flight was always full and I never realized so many people flew to Nashville from FLL on a continuous basis.

I always enjoyed the Southwest flights.

(I do remember checking and the times/connections to PBI were not as convenient as to FLL).

Well. No one is going to shrink FLL for you.
