Hey Guys,

Thinking of putting in an offer to buy a condo cash on Shoma Dr in WPB on the west side. Actual address is 3404 I believe Shoma Dr. From Google maps, it looks fairly nice, but I've read on this site often about bad neighborhoods on Shoma. Any info would be appreciated. At first I would be renting the condo out and thinking of moving there with the wife in a couple years. Thanks.

If you like living in the projects, Section 8 style, than you are heading in the right direction. 441 in that area is going to be a major hood in a few years, they are building more apartments as I type just north of Forest Hill.

Thanks 1138 for the heads up. I didn't buy the condo but the funny thing is the owner said she had so many inquiries about the place that she increased the price from 80K to 90K. Not sure why the demand was so high in a somewhat poor neighborhood.

The area is near Wellington, which is affluent but mainly Shoma is a Section 8 complex and not really that desirable, I would suggest you avoid it.
