Is Pineapple Grove an apartment complex or a shopping center area? I was trying to find it but couldn't.

Thanks!
Worthing place looks pretty nice. I would love to live there.

Barkingham Palace on Federal in Delray (~2 miles from Pineapple Grove area) has some great doggie daycare. Our 3 dogs are there quite frequently (both for daycare and overnight) and they love it.

I'm glad I came across this board. I may be taking a job in Boca Raton (final face-to-face interview in a couple of weeks) but I'm a 30 year old, single guy who would rather be around younger professionals. It sounds like I should check out Delray Beach during my visit in a couple of weeks.

Can anyone recommend a real estate agent that could take me around to look at rentals while I'm down there?

Thanks for any other info anyone may have,
Dan

Great! Thank you so much for all the updates!

Looks like I'll be looking at Heritage vs Palmetto Place vs Worthing Place

Heard a lot about Worthing Place being super noisy though.

In Delray check out the apartments directly in the downtown area, there are a lot of newer buildings that are very nice. You might also want to check out the Las Olas area in Fort Lauderdale, I would say it has even more activity than Delray but would be a slightly longer commute. Both definitely have more going on than Boca.

Thanks for advice everyone!
Today has been a good day.
Decided on my car, decided on an apartment, and many other things fell into place.
I'm going to lease at Heritage in Boca.

Also, my realtor was excellent. I highly recommend her if anyone needs someone:
Melba Muniz
Office: 561-886-1678
Pompano Beach Homes | Boca Raton Real Estate | Balistreri Realty

She helped me do everything remotely and was very patient and helpful with all my random requests. Highly recommended!

Cheers!

If you can swing it, I would go with Boca, specifically Mizner Park. Downtown Boca is less touristy, less seasonal, and much larger than Downtown Delray. Also, the neighborhoods bordering Downtown Boca are much safer and more upscale than the neighborhoods bordering Downtown Delray. IMO, the worst ghetto in southern Palm Beach County is in Delray Beach between U.S. 1 and Congress.
