Help researching schools (Boca Raton, Wellington: 2014, home, private schools)

We are possibly relocating to the Boca area. Not sure exactly where we are looking to live as we need to see exactly where my husband will be working but we know he'll at least have offices in Boyton and Boca. I want to research the schools down there but don't know exactly where to start. I have looked at the recent US News report on the High Schools and am not impressed with the proficiency scores compared to where I live now (OH). The realtor we've spoken to says the Boca schools are great but am not sure what facts she has to back this up. Obviously, I will ask her when we come look at the area soon.

Would love to hear what people who live there have to say or if you have any websites that I can research the schools? I have 2 daughters that are in 1st and 2nd grade in a Montessori school.

Also, if anyone has any opinions on Claremont Montessori or other private schools, I'd appreciate that as well.

Greatschools.org, schooldigger.com and check the websites of the schools.

This site on it's home page has a section on schools. You can check out how the schools are rated and then follow up if you are interested.

Try this site also www.palmbeachschools.org

Of course, visiting the schools is your best option to see if you want your children going there. BTW, the school year ends June 6th...

The higher rated public schools in palm beach country can be found in Wellington, sorry don't know much about private schooling

Boca Raton Community High is ranked #22 in the country for "most challenging" by the Washington Post.
