Maybe because I grew up in Miami, but I don't think it's that bad. Sure during season traffic sucks, but it's still better than Miami.

Tailgating is especially bad here(I usually drive 5-10 mph over, so it's not like I'm grandpa-ing it). We just got back from a trip that spanned six states and it was a real breath of fresh air to experience how laid back drivers were in all of them. Now it's back to everyone seeming to be in a life or death rush and making it a point to cut you off even when they don't really need to. It's just the way it is here.

Do you drive down Military in Delray? Really crazy, especially by the PO and The Boys.

Rusty nailed it, winter has lots of NE snowbirds where the horn is king. When I'm in Boca in July you don't get 'horned' as often. Aggressive driving on 95 is all year long, speeding is off the hook. Texting, cell phone is a menace everywhere.

They need to get rid of the ticket clinics. If people are actually are held responsible for their actions, and can't just make things disappear with money, they will start driving better.

I wouldn't put up with it. Why make life that much more stressful on yourself? Life is stresful enough without having to deal with that, and for what?

I will tel you that on my way to the supermarket two weeks ago (Military and 10th Ave. approximately), some guy almost side swipes us as he attempted coming into our lane and didn't see us. My husband honked the horn to avoid a crash. The guy starts screaming, and my husband starts screaming back (mind you this is as we are driving down Military), The driver of the other car reached down to grab something, I screamed as I thought it was a gun, my husband hits the breaks thinking the same thing. It was a bat, and he was screaming and swinging it. I am now screaming at my husband to just hit the gas and lets go as I was crying and screaming. The other driver finally took off. Scariest moment in my life! I am from NJ, and thought we were aggressive, which Jersey drivers are, but South Florida driving is a whole other animal.

People in Florida really need to get a ccw permit. Not only can you carry a gun but all sorts of other defensive weapons like mace taser stun gun expandable baton. You're a sitting duck out there if you don't have any type of protection on you when out in Florida

See, that's just no kind of fun when you have to worry about stuff like this. And for what?
