I'm scheduled for surgery at St. Mary's at the end of June, am a senior with a limited budget, flying solo, have never been to the area before and am having a headache going through hotel options! The two most appealing so far are the Bradley Park and the Hotel Biba but I'm open to suggestions.

I won't be renting a car so it would be nice to have at least a grocery store within easy walking distance. Peace and quiet are a must and my worst nightmare when recovering from surgery would be gaggles of children swarming around! Just need somewhere to quietly rest and recover before returning to my island home. I'll be in the area anywhere from 10 days to 3 weeks depending on how the surgery goes. That's what THEY say, anyway, but 10 days is my max!

Any feedback at all would be very much appreciated. Thanks so much.

Bradley Park if you need to be close to a supermarket, since there is one right across the street. The Supermarket near Hotel Biba was demolished and in the process of remodel.

Also, Palm Beach is a quieter location in general.

Thanks! I'm getting closer and keep coming back now to the Best Western Palm Beach Lakes Inn. Thoughts on that?

I don't know about that one, but I stayed at the Best Western in Palm Beach Gardens on US 1 in March and it was simply amazing. One of the best budget-friendly inns I have ever stayed at. It is called Best Western Plus Windsor Gardens Hotel & Suites, Palm Beach Gardens.
