We are both in the 55-60 age range so we do not care about school systems or employment. We live in NJ and would initially be snow birds with the hope of eventually moving full time. We would like to be reasonably close to the beach and away from potentially bad neighborhoods and traffic congestion. I have been told the Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens may be the best choice. Any suggestions on these or any other neighborhoods would be appreciated. I would also appreciate any info on the housing market, foreclosures and pricing if possible.
Thanks,
BA

There are a lot of condos and townhouses in the Jupiter - Palm Beach Gardens area.

Being a licensed property manager I am very familiar with some of the neighborhoods as well as the area, having lived here for over 30 years.

It frankly will get down to the amenties you want, and the size of you wallet.

Ocean Parks in Jupiter, 300 N. A1A - has 428 units - in 13 buildings, two clubhouses and two pools. No gulf course, but Jupiter Inlet, Carlin Park and the ocean are across within 1/2 mile. The units are very large, assessments are reasonable and most buildings have carports. Shopping and movie theater are also within walking distance.

The Bluffs have several neighborhoods: Ridge at the Bluffs is 618 single family, zero lot line homes.
They have a nice pool area, tennis courts, two playgrounds, and the assessments are very reasonable. Each home has their own 2 car garage. Some units back up to roadways, others on lakes. Also very close to the beach and shopping.

River at the Bluffs is a mirror image of the Ridge, but is on the Intercoastal.

The Lakes is a Townhouse community.

The Ocean North and The Ocean South are condos.

All of these communities are close to each other so they are all close to the beach and shopping. None of them have golf courses. They are located around US1 and Marsincki Rd. in Jupiter.

There are at least 10 - 15 other communities both along US1 and along the Ocean between Indiantown Rd. in Jupiter and Donald Ross Rd.

There are even more further south into Juno.

This entire area is nice, clean and safe.

If you have a larger budget, you may want to look at Admirals Cove, Frenchmen's Creek or the Preserve. More expensive homes, higher assessents but more ammenties. Also short drive to the beach, and shopping close at hand.

If you go further west there is Abacoa, Evergreen, The Isles and a half a dozen more. Still a nice safe area, Abacoa you have a golf course (I don't know details of the membership), small downtown area with shops and restaurants, and the Baseball Stadium for Spring Training. Further from the beach, 15 min. drive at the most, but closer to I-95.

I would recommend you contact a realtor, tell them exactly what you are looking for, if you would like the name of a good realtor, I will be happy to refer you. The same with if you need an honest contractor for repairs / upgrades or such once you fine your home. Send me a direct message and I will give you what information I can.

Default Palm Beach Gardens Fl Condo 55+ Community for Sale

Hi we have a condo in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. We are trying to sell because it is a 55+ community and we are not able to start a family here. We just don't have the room. My husband bought it as a bachelor 12 years ago for his elderly parents and then they decided they were not interested. He renovated the entire condo and has kept it up to date. Best condo in the community. We are not using a realtor. Please look at the listing we put out on this site. Dave and Rebecca

3154 Meridian Way S Condo 3, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410 - 990 sq. ft., 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms.
