Thinking of moving to Palm Beach County from out of state. There are many areas like Palm Beach Garden, Royal Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Wellington and so forth. It is hard to decide where to start looking.
30 year old, young couple, planning to start a family. Looking for a good school district and an area with growth and not too much crime.

Any recommendations

Thank you

nope, not the right place. south florida is like living in latin america or central america. its mostly 3rd world, spanish speaking and crime ridden. there are so many gangs down here that the cops are quitting or moving. if u r a multi millionaire and absolutely have to move to south florida then try palm beach gardens or jupiter but there u will find very pretentious, snobs who are also planning on leaving the area too.

Are all this cities that bad??? Is there any good school district in any of them? I have gotten great references about Wellington from this forum

It is great to be informed regarding the positive and the negative of the area. Is there anything good in this county.

wellington is a nice area but is surrounded by terrible areas, jupiter is nice, gardens is nice but u r still in south florida. i am sure parts of nicaragua are nice too if u catch my drift. and you'll have to bring so much money to live well here that its just not worth it.

Arrow School ????

Besides all the unavoidable and undesirable matters related to moving to Florida, Is there any good advices in regard to areas with a lot of growth and with a good school district around the palm beach county?

Is this area better than Lee County (Fort Myers) or Collier County (Naples)??

Thank you for your input

Make sure you visit City Place and Downtown at the Gardens. Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter would be great for a young couple like yourselves. Jupiter has great schools. Most people there use the public schools versus more in Gardens using the private. There are good and bad in every place you go, get a good realtor to take you out to all of these places and see for yourself. I wouldn't bother with Singer Island too much.

Jupiter, Jupiter Farms, Tequesta, Palm Beach Gardens, Juno Beach are all great areas. If you want some land, look in Jupiter Farms. If you want a nice gated community, look in Palm Beach Gardens. If you want to be near the water, look in Jupiter or Juno Beach. Tequesta may be a little old for you.
