I am about to be moving from Tampa to the Palm Beach area and I am looking for a safe apartment complex that is reasonable as far as rent goes. I am in my mid 20s and it seems like everyplace I look is so dangerous that I can afford. Any suggestions as to apartment complexes or areas that are safe? Thanks

I have a nice 2/2 in the Gardens that would work in that price range. Other than that you'll find them out there you just have to search around a bit. Realtor.com or the pbpost has a rental section. Be careful of craigslist since there are a lot of scams out there.

We just got notice at our office that people are taking for sale listings and marketing them as inexpensive rentals. Apparently getting the people to sign paperwork and then the scammer disapears with the renters down payments.

You should have no problem finding a nice apartment with that price range. It's when people start looking at the sub 700 range that it gets difficult.

About 1000 will get you in a building downtown West Palm Beach, or in Gardens or Jupiter as skylinet points out.
