There are some difference...West Boca is a bit newer in terms of some of the developments..You will also get a bigger home in West Boca than you would here in Central Boca...We lived in West Boca and now in Central Boca and prefer it here...My daughter started at Waters Edge Elem, there is also Sandpiper and Sunrise Elem..Loggers Run Middle and Eagles..However Eagles Landing Middle is zoned for Olympic Heights and well if you have the choice I would try to send to either West Boca HS, Spanish River where my son is and or Boca Community in East Boca..Our kids changed schools from West Boca to where we are now and they love the schools they are in now...my son is a freshman in HS and my daughter is in 4th..and I cant tell you how pleased we are with both of their current schools..I really think its personal Choice and what one is looking for..West Boca is nice as well but we favor this location, proximity to downtown delray where we like to eat, as well as the mall and restaurants in Boca...its also closer to highway for my dh for commuting than in West Boca...I cant explain it but Central Boca flows nicely if that makes any sense..East Boca im not too familiar with other than the schools they attend..As I have friends who live in East Boca but their kids attend Private School..The HS is Boca Community and is also a very good school.. the Middle and Elem is ok..which would be Boca Elem and Boca Middle..u can search those on greatschools.net or u can go to the palm beach county school district site...My daughter has a few friends who were supposed to go to the middle school in East Boca and well they will be going to Omni Instead which is the middle school Im zoned for...The best advice I can give would be to rent for a year to determine where you would like to live, that is what we are doing and we are glad that we had the chance to do that, because we would not have wound up buying in West Boca when the time came...Anyway, you need to see for yourself the areas and make that determination where would be the best fit for you and your family..

Good Luck
