My folks are looking into senior communities and one is in Palm Beach Gardens near Prosperity Farms Rd. We don't know SE Florida well at all (they were looking at WPB/Boca and happened upon this place "nearby" b/c of it's amenities etc.). They are from NY, culturally Jewish although not practicing, very typical middle class (retired educators who have *never* even played one round of golf, but they do like to go out to dinner/theater on occasion etc.). They like this particular senior apartment complex, but also want to be in an area where there is a diversity of religious views and where they can find a group of people who are laid back/down to earth. I'm sure senior communities are a bit different from other housing, but they often reflect the demographics of the surrounding area. Thanks for any insight from the locals!
