well i was really hoping to rent this time around from an owner, but the 2 and 3 month deposit not working for me.

Are there any owners of condos or homes for rent in the Boca area that ask for just a month? Finding this too much. SEems the management companies (like gables) more reasonable. Hoping i'm wrong here.

any one else?

Im sorry to tell you but Your not wrong that is one of the reasons we are living where we are living, However we are looking to rent a single family home and will have to suck up the 2-3 month deposit....Management companies at least here which is (gables) we paid with our pet deposit 490.00 we are renewing for 99.00 but since they let you break your lease without penalty with written 60 day notice, If we find something we will jump on it..

good luck

thanx swim mom . you have to pay to renew? why? never heard that, but still better than 8-9,000 in deposit money.

We paid in West Boca 9200 in Deposits and that was with a credit score of 780 it was insane although the house was beautiful and big it didnt have everything we would have liked so this time around we are being picky...
