Maybe there's just a lot more flights today out of PBIA because of the busy holiday travel weekend?

I did notice one go right over my house in a NE flight pattern, which isn't typical, since the flight path is actually usually a couple miles south going straight E-W

Hope so... There were a few times this afternoon when they were going close by over every five minutes or so. Loud.

I've been outside for a few hours today doing yardwork. Since your post I've been paying more attention. Definitely looks like private/corporate jets are flying out of PBIA over the neighborhood. I really do think its people heading home after Thanksgiving.

That makes sense. I did notice yesterday that a lot of the planes were smaller jets. And it was a lot quieter today. So I think you were right!

Maybe the TSA folks have been patted down so many people that they needed to fly away from it all
