With resales going as low as 92k and new units starting at 145k you might want to think about your investment value.
For a little more than that you can go up the road to carriage point and get a 2200 sqft with a 2 car garage for 165k...

I am referencing to "Monterey" townhome development in Boynton Beach. The streets include Lake Monterey Circle and Monterey Bay. The new buildings being built are better construction than the older section of townhomes. The downstairs windows are all hurricane proof and seem to keep out the sound better. All the townhomes are small, weird layouts, affordable, and again absolutely no place for dogs or children to play other than the parking lot where people speed through-specifically in the morning and evening when everyone is rushing to get to work and come home from work. The HOA did put up additional speed bumps that has seemed to help a little but the older speed bumps are worthless and people still fly over them. So watch your children carefully!!!

The neighborhood has quieted down since the shootings. Since the shooting, the HOA was supposed to have security run through here at night. It has been five months and I have never seen anyone of security or police through here doing a security sweep. Keep your doors to your place locked at all times....especially your car. My car was rumaged through my second night of living here, after I forgot to lock it up, and my phone charger was stolen along with my baby's car seat. The gates are never closed or never seem to be operating properly. Do not leave bikes, fishing poles or anything of value outside on your patio or they will be taken.

Do not let your child play, or animals unattended, outside as there are eight ft. alligators that roam around the backyards here and go back and forth from the lake to the marshy area that is at the entrance.

The gardners are very interested in peeping inside of your place when they work so do not walk around naked! lol Absolutely NO privacy. The patios over look the parking lot so if you like to grill in peace or sit on your patio to talk, expect to be facing the parking lot or your neighbors patio/living room and expect to share!!! lol You get what you pay for.
